
The Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa was founded in 1996, the Pretoria Bar being one of its founding members.
The Pretoria Centre for Domestic, CAJAC and International Arbitrations and Mediations is well-known.
Their excellent facilities are conveniently situated in Groenkloof, Pretoria.
Panel members, comprising of retired judges, accountants, senior and junior advocates, engineers and others, are available to act as mediators or arbitrators on short notice.
Parties to a dispute may either request the secretariat to appoint a mediator or arbitrator by mutual agreement, or agree to administered mediation or arbitration in accordance with the Foundation's rules.
