My Information

Before joining the Pretoria Society of Advocates in May 2020, Michael was an advocate at the Johannesburg Society of Advocates and former member of Group 21 Advocates (2014 - 2020). Since being called to the bar in 2013 he has taken on a number of challenging cases resulting in a well rounded experience in civil and criminal trials; including various intricate motion applications with success.

He is interested in a very wide range of litigation, including appeals, deceased estates, sectional property, general property management work, bank matters, family and children matters. He was previously employed as a Manager at Deloitte heading their Cyber Security Digital Forensics Lab. His main contribution was towards developing the effective presentation of Digital Evidence by way of rigorous internationally accepted Digital Forensics Procedures. He has given testimony in numerous court cases by action and motion proceedings since 2009. His interests at present lie in pursuance of an integration of Computer Science and various aspects of procedural law in an attempt to allow every South African citizen the benefit of ease of court access.
